I am the wife of Mike and mother of Anne, 18, and Ty 16.
I have a M.Div from University of Dubuque Theological Seminary, MA in Leadership and Ministry from Greenville College, a MBA from SIUE and a BA in Business Management from Greenville College.
I am a runner, a reader, a writer, a preacher, a health and fitness coach, a PiYo instructor, a friend, a pastor, and a singer, and a knitter.
I am more extrovert than introvert, but some days that changes. I love to be in a crowd of people I know and yet I love to be just another face in the crowd sometimes, too.
I love music of almost every kind.
Being a mom has changed me for the better and I learn a lot from the Lord as I parent my kids. I am very Type A (although my son challenges me to be more spontaneous and open to chaos).
Being a wife is hard work, and sometimes, I don’t know if I am a very good one.
But most importantly I am a Daughter of the King. And here on this blog I will post things that I am learning as His daughter. By sharing these things, I hope that maybe you will learn something, too.
I try to post three times each week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Monday Music or Monday Musings: Mondays are for my musings about the stuff of life and sometimes for sharing music that is moving me in some way.
Wednesday Walk: Wednesdays are for sharing what I am learning about the Word of God and my walk with the Lord.
Food and Fitness Friday: Each Friday, I try to share things I am learning along the way about exercise, whole-food plant-based (vegan) eating, and health.
Looking forward to hearing more from you. gracie
